Through the Sunflower Nonprofit Center and its state-of-the-art meeting space, the foundation provides an environment conducive for organizations to connect and grow as they work to address the state’s most pressing health challenges.

Sunflower Learning Collaborative highlights importance of nonprofit capacity building
Kansas Health Institute caught up with Sunflower Foundation President & CEO Brandon Skidmore and Health Systems Director Carlie Houchen last week during the foundation’s Spring 2025 Nonprofit Capacity Building Learning Collaborative.
Brandon and Carlie talked about the role the nonprofit sector plays in helping improve the health of Kansans, as well as the importance of helping nonprofits build their capacity so they can make an even bigger impact in their communities.
