Did You Know?
The Sunflower Foundation has awarded 209 Capacity Building grants totaling over $3.7 million.
Capacity Building

Goal - Strengthening and sustaining community-based health and human services organizations so they can fulfill their missions and serve those who rely on their services.

These grants are designed for health and human service organizations that provide primary care or primary prevention services. Applicant organizations may range in size and scope, but they must demonstrate that they have a financial need for a capacity building grant.

Organizations applying for capacity building grants must also demonstrate that they have conducted an organizational assessment of their capacity needs. Capacity building grants support core functions such as governance, leadership, management, and information systems.
