Sunflower Trails Requests for Proposals (RFPs)
Please note: In order to better assist potential grantees, the submission process has changed.
Step 1: Review the following RFPs to familiarize yourself with the grant requirements.
Step 2: Contact the Sunflower Trails program officer, Elizabeth Stewart, at firstname.lastname@example.org or 785-232-3000. During the initial conversation(s), be prepared to explain your organization’s trail concept and some of the grant requirements; e.g., expressed need by the community, anticipated usage, matching funds, trail criteria, expenses, etc. Even returning applicants must talk to the program officer before they can access the online trail application.
Step 3: Applicants who are ready to proceed will receive the link to the online application.
Since the process may require several conversations, applicants are encouraged to contact the program officer as soon as possible.
